Precision begins at the Start of the Measuring Process

Air gages use the measuring effect of the change in pressure when a workpiece approaches a measuring jet. As the distance
between jets and work surface decreases, the pressure increases while the velocity of flow and the respective volume flow
decrease. The air measuring procedure has a realtively short but very linear measuring range.
